Secondary reconstruction for microtia after reconstructed auricle

Preoperative appearance of reconstructed auricle
　　but unfavorable result.

This case was already opearated
　　 6 times at another hospital
　　　　 in Kansai area.


Determine the proper anatomical location
　with transparent film template.


The outline for the secondary
　　reconstruction operation.


Excised grafted costal cartilage frame [left].
Newly fabricated 3-dimensional costal cartilage frame [3-D frame] [center].
Paper template [right].


Grafted costal cartilege frame is excised
　 and skin flaps formed.


Newly fabricated 3-dimensional costal cartilage frame
　is grafted and reconstructed auricle.


At the end of the secondary reconstruction operation
　　 with Bolster fixation sutures.

小耳症手術による合併症
一過性の顔面神経麻痺　浅側頭動・静脈の血行不良による植皮の生着不良　感染　移植軟骨の露出　気胸　術後肺炎　縫合不全　ハゲ　床ずれ　その他

上記のような合併症が生じた場合は、症状に応じて対処致します。
場合によっては再手術を行う可能性もあります。
